Planet Eclipse obviously has a new paintball marker coming out called the Planet Eclipse Etha. The picture below of the new Planet Eclipse Etha below was taken in Germany, as you can see with the watermark image in the photo of the Etha.
The Planet Eclipse Etha looks much like Planet Eclipse’s Geo marker with some differences. For one, after studying the picture, I started noticing that the frame and body were two different shades of black, as noted on other articles on the internet. It’s true. It very much looks like the new Planet Eclipse Etha will have a composite frame. In turn, many have asked and stated that this marker will likely be a mid-range version on the Geo. The Etek is the Ego’s little brother and it’s fitting that the Geo will have the Etha.
The marker at the moment is considered the Planet Eclipse Etha. That is what is on the marker at the moment, but on release, this could change. Etha to me kind of sounds like a codename maybe? I could be wrong though. Nothing is certain until the new markers release. Either way, Planet Eclipse makes gnarly paintball markers so I am almost certain that it will please many when it comes out. I am expecting the Planet Eclipse Etha to retail for about $700-$800, or right around the same price as the Etek 3 LT or AM. This marker may or may not come with an all metal construction option. I can’t wait to try out the Planet Eclipse Etha when it comes to stores. Until then, play hard and keep your guns up.
Be sure to check Compulsive Paintball for prices and to pick one up when it comes out.

My first impression after seeing the picture circulated wide and far on the interwebz is that the Etha will likely be the Geo’s answer to the ETEK3. And why this is the only image we have of the Etha, aside from closeups of the same picture? If they were able to snap a live-action photo of a PE employee team member holding one in a match, I would think that someone would have clamored to take a few snaps of the gun off the field…
Either way, if PE is going to offer a mid-range version of the Geo, this might be another great affordable marker for the masses!
Keep it coming, PE!

Yeah, I wish there were more pics also. I’m anxious to know more about this marker. I just can’t wait to get my hands on one to try it out. I really think it will be PE’s answer to a little brother for the GEO. It will be good coming from PE no doubt. They always seem to come out with amazing gear. Thanks for the comment!

BTW, the price on this thing was way lower than what I estimated. It’s around the 3 bills mark. Way to go PE.
